Safety We recommend a minimum of 40 registered dives and an advanced diving certification as some of the dives are challenging. A maximal diving depth of 30 m is recommended from most of the ships. Decompression dives are not allowed. When diving, do not try to beat your own record and please stay within your own limit (certification). There are no decompression chambers in Sudan. The next decompression chambers are situated either in Marsa Alam, Egypt, or Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It's almost impossible to reach this places in short time.
